Nicklas is 21 years of age and originally from Denmark. Nicklas played for the pro club, Randers FC, throughout his entire youth career while also being called up for the Danish national team as a U15 player. At age 19, Nicklas moved to the US to play for the D1 school, Cleveland State University. After his freshman season, he transferred to the Lebanon based NAIA school, Cumberland University, where he has been the starting GK ever since.

Nicklas has an extensive coaching experience despite his young age. During his time in Denmark, Nicklas was the Head of Goalkeeper Coaching for Randers FC’s younger academy goalkeepers resulting in 2 of those goalkeepers signing youth contracts with the Club. Furthermore, Nicklas was a voluntary assistant coach for a local U15-team (Kristrup B) whilst coaching Randers FC’s youngest talents. In the US, Nicklas has been doing private/group lessons with various kids, 2 of whom have signed National Letters of Intend with respectively Samford University (Emma Donley signed with this D1 school in 2021), and Lincoln Memorial (Abby Bode signed with this D2 school in 2021). Furthermore, Nicklas has been coaching for CPS Soccer Academy since 2020.

Because of his coaching experience with goalkeepers and field players, Nicklas decided to start his own soccer academy known as “Nicklas Rulle: Danish Soccer Academy”. This academy is based out of Denmark, however, after graduation, Nicklas plans on bringing his academy to the US. Nicklas’ academy focuses on providing kids and young adults with the opportunity of experiencing the professional setup that is surrounding the best pro academies in Europe. Through his international network, Nicklas is able to offer perks such as physiotherapy, strength & conditioning, mental coaching, nutritional plans etc.
